25 Days Of Thankfulness In One Post

I have a number of friends who are doing 30 Days of Thanksgiving.  What a great idea.  But I was sick when it all started so I did not jump in right away.  I decided to do one post on Thanksgiving.

25 Days of Thankfulness – I am Thankful for…

25. Our home and our neighborhood.  Its warm, filled with love and mostly organized.

24. Warm blankets to snuggle under when it dips below 60 degrees.

23. Sickness, even though its not fun, it makes me realize that I am usually healthy and full of energy.

22. Toys to step on.  It reminds me my house is full of children who are truly enjoying their childhood.

21. Home Educating my children.  What a privilege and a joy to teach them every day.

20.  Sean’s job.  It may not be perfect, but it pays the bills and gives him lots of time with us.

19. Socks, keep my tootsies warm when their is a chill in the air.

18. The internet and its ability to see my nieces and nephews and catch up with friends.

17. The signing birds I hear every morning outside my window.

16. A washer and dryer that work consistently so I do not have to go to the laundromat.

15. Our church family who has taken the time to invest in our lives and our kidlets’ lives.

14. Music, what would life be without music?

13. The Bible, how would I live without its direction?

12. Almost down to one in diapers.  I wonder if I can get down to none before the end of April?

11. Hiking in the “mountains” in the fall.  Creation at its best?  I am not sure, but its very beautiful.

10.   Naps.  Do I really need to say more?

9.  Family games.  We laugh we cry, I crush the kidlets.

8. All the transitions that God has brought us through in the last years.

7. The military and their family who are willing to serve and let their loved ones deploy so we can be safe.

6. Missionaries who give up their lives so they can other people about Christ.

5. Laughter, even when things are hard.

4. Friends and family who are willing to speak the Truth in Love, even if it hurts, it still brings joy in the end.

3. My kidlets.  There are days I look at them and can’t believe God entrusted them to me.

2. My wonderful husband who is a wonderful example of Christ’s love for His Church.

1. Jesus and his dying on the cross for my sin and rising again to give me eternal life.
